Filtering gas mask PDF-D for children is designed to protect children's respiratory oragans, eyes, faces from radioactive, poison and bacteriological admixtures.
Set Includes: Filtering box, Mask, Air Hose, Haversack, Special Pencil.
The gas mask should only be used upon specific orders given through the mass media. Filtering box must be stores in the haversack, plug must be inserted into the box and cover must be screwed on it. In case of attack proceed in the following way:
1. Pull the plug out of the filter.
2. Remove the cover from the filter by turning counter-clockwise.
3. Screw the filter into the breathing valve by turning clockwise.
Upon the receipt of the specific order given through the pass media proceed in the following way:
1. Child must hold their breath and close their eyes.
2. Place child between your legs, on their back facin you, back of their head against your chest,
3. Hold the head and chin straps on both sides of the mask, using thumb and forefinger and pull them to the side.
4. Put the mask on the child's chin,
5. Pull it over their face,
6. Pull both chin straps backwards until the mask tightens around the child's face,
7. Pull both head straps backwards until the mask tightens around child's face,
8. Make sure the lenses are positioned correctly over the child's eyes,
9. Make sure the head piece is positioned on the crown of the child's head,
10. Make sure the straps are not twisted, not covering the child's ears and are aligned with the buckles.
11. Child must make sharp and deep exhalation and open their eyes.
12. Protect yourself from the attack.
Please mae sure before use of the gas mask that child's breath is hold and that his eyes are closed. IT must b done necessarily, because one can be gassed with modern poisoning agent even within a short time of putting the gas mask on. After strong exhalation substances inside the mask are removed from the gas mask and only then eyes may be opened. During use of the gas mask in winter it is necessary to treat internal surface of glasses of the gas mask with special pencil. After use of the as mask it is necessary to wash the mask and to dry it up.
