Easy To Use: Remove from foil wrap. Bend once, snap and shake.
The Coghlan SNAPLIGHT Lightsticks should not be removed from the foil wrapper until ready to use. The wrapper protects against humidity and sunlight. Unopened, the Lightstick has a storage life of 4 years.
When activated, light will be emitted for about 12 hours. Brightness and duration will be affected somewhat by temperature variations. Colder temperatures will result in less brightness but longer duration. Temperatures over 80 degrees F will cause a brighter light for a shorter time. For the outdoorsman the soft glowing light is a real plus since insects are not attracted to it as readily as to a sharp "white" light source.
IMPORTANT: Keep in original foil wrap until ready to use. Do not puncture or cut plastic container. Ingredients are non-toxic and non-flammable, but may permanently stain clothing or furniture. Contact with skin or eyes may cause temporary discomfort. In case of skin or eye contact, rinse thoroughly with water. Do not drink or ingest contents. After activation , do not bend lightstick. Do not leave lightstick in direct sunlight or expose to high temperatures. After use, dispose of in refuse container. Not for use by children under 6 years of age without adult supervision.

Most, but not all orders leave our warehouse within 1-7 business days. Allow time from the day we ship for UPS or the USPS to deliver it to you from Upstate NY. Please call for rush orders before 2:00 Eastern time. That means that some items, to some locations could take two weeks or more. Remember, we're a 50 year old family run business, so feel free to call us for a rush. We can get most of our items out the same day and use next day air and get it to you tomorrow, but you need to call before 2:00 Eastern time.
