DryGuy ThermoFeet Heat Shields keep your feet warmer because they retain heat and allow moisture to pass and have vapor transfer pores to allow vapor transfer in the boot and use a polyolefin scrim for toughness. Ever seen a satellite wrapped in Polar Fleece? Not likely. NASA utilizes pure metals for thermal protection of their delicate payloads. Typically NASA uses pure gold applied to an exotic plastic substrate to achieve 99.9% thermal reflection. ThermoFeet� utilize 99% pure aluminum applied to two sides of a polyolefin film and a layer of polyolefin scrim. The result is an astronomical a 98% efficient reflection of body heat. The result is a down to earth price on a product that delivers 10 to 20� increase in retained heat. ThermoFeet are the same thickness as a dollar bill ( 1.4 mils.) and will not adversely affect the fit of the shoe or boot. ThermoFeet have a series of pores to facilitate normal vapor transfer but are not intended for direct contact with the foot. ThermoFeet just like a mirror works best with space between the light/heat source and the reflector. Thermofeet� are normally placed on the bottom of the insole or orthotic or to the top of the shoe sole when the insole or inner boot has been removed. ThermoFeet� are unisex and unisize. Trim to fit utilizing boot or shoe insole as a template. Enjoy warmer feet in the winter and cooler feet in the summer with space age technology for earth bound feet.

Most, but not all orders leave our warehouse within 1-7 business days. Allow time from the day we ship for UPS or the USPS to deliver it to you from Upstate NY. Please call for rush orders before 2:00 Eastern time. That means that some items, to some locations could take two weeks or more. Remember, we're a 50 year old family run business, so feel free to call us for a rush. We can get most of our items out the same day and use next day air and get it to you tomorrow, but you need to call before 2:00 Eastern time.
