It also contains a bright LED light that continues to shine after charging. How small is it? Approximately 2 x 1 ˝ x 1 inch. It weighs only 2 ˝ ounces. How much power does it put out? As much or more than your current plug-in wall charger at a regulated, steady 6.2 volts. What kind of light is in it? The SideWinder contains a high-bright white LED light, which continues to give light up to 5 minutes after you stop turning the handle (30 seconds of charging = about 5 minutes of light). It provides enough light to read or walk with at night. How long do I have to turn the handle to charge my phone? About 2 minutes of charging gives you around 6 minutes of talk time and considerably more standby time. Exact power delivery varies depending on digital or analog systems, age and size of cell phone battery, and how far your battery discharged before you decide to charge. It is optimum to start charging when you first begin getting a low battery signal rather than to wait until the phone is completely dead. Just as with your plug-in charger, it takes exponentially longer to bring a phone battery back from “dead” state. Can I fully charge my phone? It can be done, but it would take quite a while.
