Heat 1/4 cup of cooking oil or Ghee and one kernel of popcorn in large, heavy, covered pan. After kernel pops, pour 1/3 cup of popcorn (or enough to cover bottom of pan- no more than one kernel deep). Re-cover. Shake or stir until all corn is popped. Season with salt and more Ghee as needed.
